MISS AFRICA 2017: HOW MUTHONI FIONA EMERGED 1st PRINCESS

Rwanda’s representative Fiona Muthoni Naringwa, emerged the first runner up(1st Princess) at Miss Africa 2017 beauty pageant held in the southern Nigeria port of Calabar on 27th December 2017. Botswana’s Balopi, 21, was crowned overall winner after edging 24 other contestants to clinch the ultimate prize. Miss Muthoni Fiona pocketed $10,000 (about Rwf 8.5 million). Kigali Today caught up with Miss Fiona in order to know more about her journey at Miss Africa 2017 and the secret behind her success.
